What the helly???

That! People was my reaction after reading the first halve of the book.

First off, let's look at the tropes and overview.

When I think I’ve hit the jackpot of the Wrong happy endings with the right guy, the life proves it can outdo the island chaos.

You'd think it's your regular strangers to enemies to lovers book, where they're initially strangers that started hating each other but became lovers when they got to know each other.

My dearest dear, you've been deceived!

I wasn't expecting the other halve of the book, I know the name was supposed to give me an inkling of understanding about the plot but I kid you not, I was played!!! (In a good way)

See me giggling and smiling, happy the enemies were finally becoming lovers, they'd dive into the sunset and live happily ever after. Did it happen? Yes. Did it happen when I expected it to happen? No!

The plot twist made me pause and scream!! (Miss Ariana cane, you have a wonderful mind. Xoxo).

Now let's talk about the characters.

Maeve

My terrifyingly sweet fire prone, hot babeeee, you'd have been my favourite character if I didn't like Martin more.

Kudos to you for your wonderful mind and making the first few months of Ezra's life after knowing you a living nightmare. Loveddddd itttttt

Ezra 

I have no thoughts about you.

But thank your stars you made my maeve happy and I didn't want to make her sad by hurting you.

My wonderful, sweet, badass Martin, you're a bad bitch for reallll.

I'm rating this book a 3.5, cause I loved it.

  My God. * Stares in space for a few minutes * This book. This book is as crazy as it is eye opening. Oh my God. I love women more than I've ever loved them, I hate 99.5 percent of the men in this book. Christ.! And the saddest part is that women still suffer everything the women in the book went through. Damn it. I hate the world. This is so unfair, what happened to Mariam was so unfair, and what happened to Laila so very unfair.
