Review of the fault in our stars

This bookkkkk!!!

Ohmigosh, I have A LOT to say.

First of, I absolutely loved it, I got the book and the movie. I decided to watched the movie after reading the book to see how it'd feel like, if everything would go the same way and most especially to see the characters in human form*dreamy sigh..*

Anywhoo, I've heard from my friends that I'd cry ( actually I was looking for a sad book and a friend recommended it to me) but I'm literally made of steel *smirks* .

I finished reading the book in one sitting, cause it was attention catchy and indulging (Very..)

I loved the characters and how they developed.

Hazelgrace..., I loved her, I loved her character and how I related to her reluctance to socialize ( the cave person in me is sneaking out.....*sighs*)

She's a veryy intelligent person, witty, and very introspective.

Often pondering on the inevitability of death and so much more (she'd make a wonderful philosophy professor). She meets Augustus and his friend Isaac at a cancer support group and he becomes intrigued by her (it's giving love at first sight, sprinkle pixie dust).

They bond over their shared cancer experience and their love for literature, where hazel introduces him to her favourite book by Peter van houten, a book that ends without ending (literally) leaving A LOT to the imagination (I'd flip honestly, imagine reading a book like that, I'd hunt the author and make her tell me how it ends).

I loved her relationship with Augustus, it was comforting, calming, they completed and complimented each other.

I loved Isaac's character A LOT, guy was sarcastic as hell, funny and was the ray of sunshine for his friends.

"But I will say this: When the scientists of the future show up at my house with robot eyes and they tell me to try them on, I will tell the scientists to screw off, because I do not want to see a world without him.”

“And then, having made my rhetorical point, I will put my robot eyes on, because I mean, with robot eyes you can probably see through girls’ shirts and stuff. Augustus, my friend, Godspeed.”

This part was very crazy😅, I was like broooo!

Okay, cause I don't want to leave plenty spoilers, I'd just go ahead to say the book was totally worth it and mind you, I cried (don't tell anybody).

It broke me and I couldn't even watch the movie, cause I couldn't watch a character I've come to love die.

I'd rate the book a 4 stars out of 5.

Cause I love romance but I hate traumatic experiences.

Adios.
